The architectural team is designing a modern, fully integrated township for 10,000 Mumbai Police constables and their families at Vayal, near Panvel. Spread across approximately 100 acres, this development is conceived as a self-sustained urban community that supports the wellbeing, dignity, and daily life of those who serve the city.
The master plan is rooted in contemporary urban design principles—prioritising walkability, safety, efficient circulation, and thoughtfully planned neighbourhoods. Residential clusters will offer comfortable, well-designed homes complemented by open green spaces and community-centric common areas. A comprehensive range of amenities will foster a healthy and vibrant lifestyle.Sports facilities, playgrounds, and fitness zones will encourage recreation and physical wellbeing, while educational institutions, healthcare services, and retail conveniences will ensure all essential needs are met within the township. Dedicated civic and cultural spaces will further strengthen social connectionsand community identity. Sustainability remains at the core of the design approach, with emphasis on environmental responsibility, resilient infrastructure, and future-ready utilities. Landscape planning will preserve natural features, support biodiversity, and create a pleasant living environment throughout the year. The Integrated Police Township at Vayal will stand as a progressive model of residential development—providing a safe, nurturing, and inspiring home for the families of Mumbai Police, and celebrating their invaluable contribution to the city.
