YASHWANTRAO CHAVAN CENTRE
The well-equipped auditorium in Yashwantrao Chavan Centre has hosted many commendable events and functions. As the auditorium is quite large, it accommodates 600 people in the audience comfortably. The center has a distinctive place in the hearts of the citizens as it is named after the first Chief Minister of Maharashtra state. Considering this fact, the venue is in a stately area near the Mantralaya, called the Maharashtra Sadan.
The ceiling of the grand auditorium is clad in rich wood and acoustic fabric which presents a warm and inviting welcome. While designing this building, we created a huge lamp (diva) hanging at the entrance, to create a distinct and interesting design of the campus that would identify it as a landmark structure in the area.
"The centre, while being home to nurturing the rich cultural legacy, had to live up to the name of the iconic personality it has been named after. The design of the centre derives its inspiration from the personality of Shri. Yashwantrao Chavan; compassionate and inspiring."
